Endorsement Program

2000 First Level Rules of Endorsement

We definitely are trying to fill the gap where there is a need for the metal head, and low tuning guitars & basses. Unfortunately, this is a slow process and there are so many stubborn blues only advocates that our battle is relentless. And it is tough doing business in regions who have swallowed the lie that Metal is dead.

So what we have come up with is a plan to include musicians in bands with several albums to their credit (i.e.; more than one, demos not included). Thus, the request for "endorsement" on this level does not include "free" instruments. We are a small upcoming guitar building business with a shoestring budget! Also, it is not cheap to build these types of high quality hand made instruments. Our cost on materials alone, far exceeds the cost of a cheap CNC pop out from a retail guitar store.

As a result, the only endorsement opportunities that we presently offer is for bands that fall into one of the following categories. Here in the First Level program, this would include those who could possibly come up with enough money to cover our Wholesale Endorsee cost on their custom made instruments. In this way, we can pay the bills, pay our human laborers, and still stay in business to support the Metal industry with high end instruments of superior quality.

If after you have played our instruments, and your band has proven to be an asset to us by generating NUMEROUS sales to your region, we will then be more than happy to consider a Second Level "Team Endorsement" for you and the band. In this way both sides will benefit from any Second Level Endorsement agreement that is eventually finalized.

We really wish we could make free guitars for everyone that plays Metal, but everyone knows, that in the real world, this is an impossibility! In this material realm, money makes the world go round! So we have to do what we can to survive & stay in business, even with our Endorsement considerations.

If you were to compare our equipment & prices with the other popular Custom Shops, you will find that we are rather reasonable. And if you deal with us, you will have no reason to ever go anywhere else. Our customer service blows doors on our competitors, just ask one of our satisfied customers.

If you are still interested in doing business with us on these terms, then please feel free to let us know your thoughts on this offer.

2003 Rules of Endorsement Update

This is an update to our First Level rules of Endorsement. As an endorsed musician you have certain privileges that are not available to the public.

In essence, you are technically considered a Wholesale Distributor, with all the benefits of any wholesale deals that our company may have to offer. As an Endorsed musician, this deal is exclusive to you, and you alone! You are not required to do this, it is only one of your benefits if you so choose to take advantage of it.

In this position, if you so choose, you are entitled to Distribution Rights in your district. This means that if a retail guitar shop, or personal acquaintance in your area wants our guitars, they have to go through YOU! Of coarse unless you send them to us. Then you forfeit any rights to compensation because they will be dealing directly with us at that point. But if you so choose, we will enroll you as our sole distributor for that region, and then those who reside in your vicinity MUST go through YOU to order!

In this capacity, you would order directly from the standard Wholesale section found through the Secret Passage. We strongly recommend that the web site is used for all pricing inquiries. By going through the ordering process on the web site and placing the items into the Shopping Cart, you can get a very accurate estimate on the price of any musical instrument. If there is something that is not on the web site, then we can adjust the total from our end to accommodate the difference on the custom item. It is from here that you can tabulate the finish cost to you, and then mark the price up no higher than the MSRP (Manufacturer Suggested Retail Price), and then quote your price to the customer. It is here that your actual product price is marked up by you and passed on to your customer. When they give you their deposit, usually in the form of a credit card, you would then run their card through our Payments section. This activates the order and gets the production started. When we have received the final credit card payment, the order will be shipped out to your location. Final markup price total is handled between you and the customer directly and this is how you will make your commission. This applies to our accessories & clothing line as well. And, of coarse, if in the event there is more than one distributor for Stallings USA in your area of influence, we reserve the right to assign boundaries for the districts.

You also have other privileges. After you get your second custom made instrument through our Endorsement program, you have the opportunity for trade-ins. In this way you can significantly reduce the cost of your new instruments. This feature is not for everyone, but it does come in handy if you like to keep up to date on the newest features, without having to pay the full standard Wholesale cost on your instruments. Keep in mind that Stallings USA needs to sell this used instrument at a reduced price, so you may not get as much in trade as you could possibly get off the street. But we do offer this as an option in order to help reduce the cost of your new guitars. We do not accept trade-ins if the guitar has been abused and we cannot resell it in our used instrument section!

As an Endorsed musician we at Stallings USA, thank you for your valued commitment to our company, and we hope to continue doing business with you for a long time!

2011 Rules of Second Level Team Endorsement

In order to get to the Second Level here, one must prove themselves by purchasing their first instrument at standard Wholesale Endorsee cost. In essence, they must join the First Level Endorsement program before they can get to this level! This gives both sides the ability to prove themselves and their worth. This is referred to as, paying your dues. This has been implemented into the system for obvious reasons. Besides, a popular rock star with several albums to their credit can obviously afford to purchase an instrument of such quality at our Wholesale Endorsee cost, and support the company that will serve them far into the future by committing themselves to completely satisfying their musical needs.

The Second Level Endorsement program is defined as instruments for the cost of materials, Stallings USA Team Sponsorship! This is an exclusive Endorsement program that is reserved for the Stallings USA Team; Employees of Stallings USA, and Professional musicians who promote us by playing our instruments on stage.

As stated in the 2003 Rules of Endorsement Update, as an endorsed musician you have certain privileges that are not available to the public. These same privileges apply here in the Team Endorsement program. Keep in mind that guitars that are earmarked for sale by a distributor on this level can only be purchased at our standard Wholesale cost as is defined in our 2003 Rules of Endorsement Update.

And because of the nature of this particular Endorsement, most musicians on this level would rarely take advantage of the Rules of Endorsement in the First Level program for any personal instruments. This is because they would have to pay the Wholesale Endorsee cost for their instrument, rather than get it for the cost of materials.

We do not presently offer "free" guitars to anyone! Even the owner has to pay for his guitars...

But since this Second Level usually includes musicians with a Professional Band that tours around the world, has a high level of exposure, and generates NUMEROUS sales for our company, we offer terms that will allow them to get as many guitars as they need for touring & recording purposes. In this way everyone makes out on the deal!

When a Second Level Endorsed musician returns to us for their next series, in the matter of replacements, we REQUIRE trade-ins with the previously made Stallings USA instrument. In addition to the trade-in, the above mentioned musician will sign his instrument for us to sell as an authentic signature series. And we do not accept trade-ins if the instrument has been abused and we cannot resell it in our used instrument section!

We have found that requiring trade-ins significantly reduces the temptation to give away, or sell our instruments as a sideline trend. If a Second Level Endorsed musician violates this privilege, they will be immediately assigned to the First Level Endorsement program, and all Second Level privileges will be revoked until the issue is resolved. Our crew works very hard building these instruments, and to do so without pay is a blow to our human integrity. And we feel that a workman is worthy of their hire. In this case, the crew only makes the money for their labor when the used instrument is sold months, or even years down the road. So we have to put this clause into the program as a fail-safe mechanism because we understand human nature all too well.

As a Second Level Endorsed musician, we at Stallings USA thank you for your valued commitment to our company. We also hope that we can make lots of guitars & basses as a result of your representation. We hope to continue doing business with you for a long time!

2006 Wholesale Distribution Program

Thank you for your interest in our guitars & basses. As a result of customer requests for distribution within their home towns, we have formulated a program for the Wholesale Distribution of Stallings USA musical instruments.

To qualify for this program, the recipient must enroll by filling out the required paperwork to verify that they have a Musical Instrument Store for the purpose of retail sales in their region. Otherwise they must enroll through the Endorsed Musician Program above. As is in the case of an Endorsed Musician, a Distributor will have all the benefits of any wholesale deals that our company may have to offer.

This deal is for the enrolled Wholesale Distributor alone, and nobody else. The person(s) identified in our database will be the only one(s) who may order instruments in this capacity. All others must deal directly with us through the web site, or through our phone line. In this position, the recipient is entitled to Distribution Rights in their district. This means that if a retail guitar shop, or personal acquaintance in your area wants our guitars, they have to go through YOU! Of coarse unless they are sent directly to us. Then, the distributor forfeits any rights to compensation because we will be dealing directly with the customer at that point. When said applicant is accepted into the program, those who reside in their vicinity MUST go through the Distributor to be able to order! And, of coarse, if in the event there is more than one distributor for Stallings USA in any area of influence, we reserve the right to assign boundaries for the districts.

In this capacity, the Distributor can contact us directly, or through the Secret Passage section of the web site! We strongly recommend that the web site is used for all pricing inquiries. By going through the ordering process on the web site and placing the items into their Shopping Cart, they can get a very accurate estimate on the price of any musical instrument. If there is something that is not on the web site, then we can adjust the total from our end to accommodate the difference on the custom item.

In this way they can inquire as to the prices on any given custom order at any time, and then mark the price up no higher than the MSRP (Manufacturer Suggested Retail Price) in US currency, and then quote the price to the customer. This MSRP is the price quote that the web site offers to the public. In the case of orders outside the USA, the price can accommodate the currency of that region. When the customer gives their deposit, the Distributor would then place the wholesale order by placing said deposit on the order! After we receive this deposit, then the product goes into production and not before! In this way the Distributor gets their price breaks, and then can mark the product up to their customers. This applies to our Accessories & Clothing line as well. The total must be paid in full or the order will not be shipped.
