Serial Number Lookup

Serial # Placement

Serial numbers on neckthrough and set neck guitars and basses can always be found here stamped below the last fret of the fingerboard right above the neck pickup position! Bolt on necks up through 2002 only have hidden serial numbers on the underside of the neck, and in the neck pocket of the body. From 2003 and beyond, the serial number on bolt on necks can be found in the same area as shown here in the picture, as well as in the neck pocket of the body.

Letter Appendages

_ _ _ _ _ _ _DP

If you have this added to the end of your serial number, it means that your Stallings USA instrument was produced at the Fountain Valley location.

_ _ _ _ _ _ _B

If you have this added to the end of your serial number, it means that your Stallings USA instrument was a bass guitar. It was a short lived serial number appendage that was later dropped. Now it is only reserved for bolt on necks produced which of coarse could be switched to other bolt on bodies. So check the neck pocket of the body to see if the serial number sequences actually match those on the neck.

_ _ _ _ _ _ _S

If you have this added to the end of your serial number, it means that your Stallings USA instrument was produced at the older first Costa Mesa location.

_ _ _ _ _ _ _

No Appendage on the end of the serial number means that it was produced at the later 786 W. 17th St. Costa Mesa location.
